Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before adding the Yotsu Discord Bot ("Yotsu" or "the Bot") to your server or utilizing its features. By using Yotsu, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.

1. Agreement to Terms

By inviting, using, or interacting with the Bot, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, as well as Discord's developer guidelines and terms of service. If you do not agree, do not invite or use Yotsu.

2. Description of Service

Yotsu is an open-source companion bot designed to assist server members with gameplay analytics, calculations, and alerts related to the "Karuta" Discord bot. Yotsu is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee continuous uptime, error-free operations, or support for all Discord API versions.

3. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to abuse, exploit, or run high-frequency automated calls against Yotsu's commands. You must respect the gameplay policies set by the Karuta development team. Using Yotsu to systematically bypass game mechanics, abuse glitches, or disrupt others' experiences may result in your server or Discord ID being blacklisted from using the Bot.

4. Intellectual Property

Yotsu is licensed as open-source software under its original repository terms. However, the Yotsu logo, visual branding, website content, and custom code integration represent intellectual assets and may not be copied, modified, or redistributed as proprietary products without explicit permission from the creator.

5. Limitation of Liability

Under no circumstances shall the creators of Yotsu be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. This includes, but is not limited to, data loss, card collection progress issues, account warnings or bans issued by Discord or Karuta administrators, or service interruptions.

6. Modifications to Service & Terms

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the Bot or update these Terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of Yotsu after updates constitute acceptance of the modified Terms.
