Your privacy is extremely important to us. This Privacy Policy details how the Yotsu Discord Bot ("Yotsu", "we", "us", or "our") handles, processes, and stores data when you use the Bot or interact with our services.

1. Information We Collect

Yotsu operates under a minimalist data policy. We only collect the technical information necessary to run and configure our services on your server:

  • Guild Configurations: We store your Discord Guild ID and your custom choices for enabling/disabling modules (e.g. Code Extractor: Enabled, Daily Solver: Disabled).
  • Ping Roles: If you use the Server Drop Ping feature, we store the target Discord Role ID so the bot can mention the correct role when card drops occur.
  • No Message Logging: We do NOT log, store, read, or process your chat history, attachments, user profiles, or private messages. Yotsu only reads message content dynamically to detect matching Karuta bot embeds. Once analyzed in-memory, the message data is instantly discarded.

2. How We Use Data

We use the stored Guild IDs and toggle configurations solely to verify your server's settings and correctly execute our feature handlers (such as delivering drop warnings or formatting card codes).

3. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or trade your server configurations with third-party advertising companies or data brokers. All configurations are stored locally on our secure, sandboxed server database and are never distributed.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

Configuration records are maintained as long as the Bot remains in your Discord server.

  • Guild Kick/Leave: If Yotsu is removed or kicked from your server, you can contact us, or configuration tables can be cleaned, effectively deleting your Guild ID records.
  • Manual Reset: Changing toggles via /config instantly updates the database and overwrites any previously stored configurations.

5. Security

We deploy standard, secure database practices (using SQLite) to prevent unauthorized access or modification of configuration data. However, please remember that no method of transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure.
